Our Proven Implementation Process in 7 Steps

We respect your time. Here are the steps we've learned that lead to a successful implementation. And they will all be conducted remotely!

1. Transition to Implementation

When we receive your order, an IDI Implementation Specialist will be assigned and will meet internally with your IDI Technical Sales Consultant to review what was sold.

2. Consultation

Your Implementation Specialist will reach out to schedule an intro call to review timeline and expectations with you and any vendor partners that are involved. NOTE: IDI engages at the most advantageous point in your implementation cycle if you are also implementing other HCM systems.

3. Documentation of Your Solution

We will create a Technical Design Document that clearly and concisely states what our solution will provide. You’ll have the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions.

4. Configuration

This includes development, configuration and internal testing of your solution(s). Based on the complexity and number of data flows involved, this phase usually takes us 15 to 25 business days.

5. Test Plan Design

While we are working on your configuration, we ask that you work on your internal test plan. Your Implementation Specialist will provide you with details on how to create a test plan. This ensures you’re ready to begin testing as soon as we make the solution available to you.

6. Training and Implementation

Your Implementation Specialist will take users at your company through a remote session and show you how to run and maintain your solution.

7. User Testing

You will execute your test plan as you parallel test with your existing process (recommend 1 to 2 payrolls). At the end of your testing, we’ll ask you to confirm your results are as expected.

After Implementation

Once testing is complete, your IDI Implementation Specialist will then transition you to ongoing support. You will be provided contact information for our Technical Support Team, and your IDI Account Manager will follow up with you approximately 30-60 days later.
